Get up, stand up!

This post is an experiment, Tony and Rana wrote together, in order to write the most spontaneous post ever. It was so fun to write, we didn’t stop laughing while writing, Rana literally fell down from her office chair. The subject is about : “women’s right in Lebanon” interview from the streets of Lebanon.
The question we asked is : What is your opinion about women's rights in Lebanon ?  and we each gave a surprise character to the other by mail and we had to imagine spontaneously in 5 minutes the answer that this character would give. The last answer is from a real normal citizen we surprised with the same question. This is the result…Enjoy.

Madame Khoury, au volant de son 4x4:
"Bonjough Monsieur,

  1. First, you guys are hilarious. And second, I agree. No one knows anything about women's rights in this country. So sad.

  3. A woman has the same rights as a man, if she doesn't want to be humiliated then she cannot humiliate the man.

But unfortunately, Lebanese women do not get that.

    :)

  4. Loved the post.. It shows how ignorant people are.. Sadly no matter how exposed we get to the world through the Internet, the music, the telecom... Yet we have a quality of "nol2at el 2ishya min tiza" excuse my French :)
I quit can relate to the men's replies in this post and elsewhere .. They have been raised in the fact that women only take care of households and are there to serve a man's needs.. But what I cannot relate to and disgusts me is that women say stuff as "Madame Khoury" who as a woman is demeaning her poor female helper.. And "la Jeune Femme mariee a un entranger" eno tarboush baya wein m3ala2? Hehe.. Women like those had every thing served for them on a gold plate..but it's the poor women that cannot speak up for themselves like "emm ramiz" who unfortunately had been put in such a situation..

But hopefully we will get there and as women will have our rights.. Men who think we r here for making their lives easy without speaking up should take a moment and think of their mothers, wives, and sisters and be thankful to have a woman in their lives !

We have the gift of bearing a life.. We go thru pain to hell and back and then stand up tall to take care of the households or our jobs ...

Great job guys .. Awesome !
